Rock Sports began as St. Anthony Basketball and grew into a larger organization offering youth programs, leagues, camps, and training across multiple sports. As the company expanded, I helped develop the look of the Rock Sports brand and applied it across its programs and promotional materials.
The brand evolved with the organization, beginning as Basketball Newfoundland with the Newfoundland & Labrador flag incorporated into its identity. As the program grew to include multiple teams, it became Rock Basketball Inc. When the company expanded into other sports, Rock Sports was introduced with more universal athletic iconography no longer tied specifically to one sport.
As Rock Sports grew to include more teams and then sports, individual logos were developed to give each one its own identity. The designs use bold, sports-inspired imagery suited to team apparel, uniforms, and promotional materials, while still feeling connected to the larger Rock Sports organization.
Social graphics support everything from registration and program announcements to camps, tournaments, and special events. The designs use strong photography, bold type, and Rock Sports branding to quickly communicate what is happening and how athletes can get involved.
For Rock Sports Academy’s U18 AAA hockey proposal, I designed a presentation booklet that brought the vision for the program together in a clear, engaging format. It covered everything from player development and team leadership to community involvement and the business plan. I also created home and away uniform concepts to help visualize how the team could look on the ice.
The Rock Sports website acts as a central hub for the organization and its growing lineup of sports programs. Individual programs, including St. John’s Minor Basketball, Paradise Minor Basketball, and St. John’s Minor Football, have their own dedicated websites where parents can find program details, schedules, registration information, and other resources. Each site is tailored to its program while remaining connected to the broader Rock Sports network.
